
Last week my menu plan was non-existent, because frankly, we we had no food.
Well, I guess you could consider beans, rice, oats, and lots of canned veggies food....but being that I hadn't gone shopping in like a million years six weeks, it meant my creative juices for meals out of above mentioned pantry items were seriously lacking to be share worthy.
So since then, I went shopping.
Now we have plenty of food.
Ummm...so where's my menu plan?
Let's see...
Monday: lemonade
Tuesday: lemonade
Wednesday: lemonade
Thursday: lemon.......
Yes ma'am, you've got it.
Matthew and I are spending the week doing the Master Cleanse, or Lemonade Diet as some of you might call it.
Since it has been a few years since our last one, and I have had several medicinal filled occurrences recently with Jonathan and Asher's births along with my diagnosis of MTHFR, I knew I needed a mega detox.
So we live on lemonade. And more lemonade.
Oh, and don't forget the lovely glass of daily saltwater.
Such a treat.
The children?
Since I am stuck testing my will-power cooking for them, I am making lots of simple meals, like corndog muffins, fruit and veggies, pancakes, PB&J....and yum, I need to stop talking about food.
Do you see why I am not making a menu plan this week?
Pure torture, I tell you.
I almost wish we would have done this cleanse last week when there was nothing good to eat in the house like tempting cheese and crackers, chips and salsa, lots of juicy apples......
Grrrr.
