Despite the fact that all of my littles potty train pretty darn early by 26 months of age in the daytime...nighttime training takes forever.
I'm talking 5 or 6 years old forever.
That my friends, can make for a lot of laundry.
Now, by that age, they are well beyond the "I'm not a baby and wearing a diaper to bed" stage.

But I didn't need potty training pants.
I needed a nighttime solution.
The cloth pullups we were using currently barely did a thing to contain the leaks no matter how much I stuffed them. And because I had a million layers to try and contain all that wetness, my boys had what they called "bubble bootie" every night when they put them on.
Kind of embarrassing for a 6 year old, no?
They didn't like it.
And they really didn't like waking up in wet pajamas and sheets because their pullups leaked everywhere.
Neither did mama.
There had to be something better.
Something super.
Well now, whatdya know!
My boys were able to test out the Midnight Blue Bandit Nighttime Super Undies in a size medium. These actually fit my 2 year old, all the way up to my skinny 6 year old! Far above and beyond the size recommendations, I might add.
I can't rave enough...these things are amazing.
Made of waterproof and stretchy PUL, they tug on easily just like real underwear, are amazingly trim, and keep every single ounce of wetness in.
The legs and waist are trimmed with water resilient micro-fleece which guarantees nothing will escape while little ones toss and turn in their sleep.
Inside you have a super smooth and comfy mesh type pocket, with an attatched insert where those ultra absorbent six layers of micro-terry tuck inside. (And because of the extra pocket I could even add more layers if I needed the added protection, but I haven't needed to yet. And believe me, since my boys soak everything in the night, Super Undies took on the challenge and passed with flying colors. Now that's some thirsty fabric!)
The insert itself is super special as well...when you throw it in the washer, it agitates out and unfolds to get every nook and cranny super clean. And of course super dry without all that extra time because of the bulk!
I love how I don't have to wash these any special way either. Just throw them in with the rest of my cloth diapers and they come out good as new!
I have reviewed a lot of cloth diapers in my day.
I have found winners.
I found ones that have slowly made it to my not so favorite pile.
