Having 6 little ones, and hopefully more to come, I always have a range of tiny bottoms in diapers. From newborn, to potty training, to every size in between, it would be kinda' nice to just have one diaper that works perfectly for them all.
An ideal cloth diaper for most people, me included, would be easy to use, and a perfect fit no matter what baby it was being used it on. Super absorbent, cute colors, and extremely cost efficient, with minimal fuss is a big plus.
So is there a diaper out there that meets that description?
Well the Sprout Change Reversible One Size Diaper from Willow Store comes pretty close.

Sprout Change is the only reversible diaper on the market. We completely re-invented the diaper to be more convenient for you and your budget. Sprout Change reusable cloth diapers are a unique, patent pending diapering system that makes cloth diapers more affordable, easier to use and fits great. Our new v2 shells offer True-Fit sizing so you can adjust the diaper to fit perfectly, the first time. Even better, you can fit the diaper while baby is wearing, so no more guessing! No fuss, just the True-fit, fast. And made in USA by moms.
First off, let me tell you, I have never come across a one size diaper quite like this one.
This is a reversible shell with completely adjustable elastic, and can be reused for several changings at a time by just replacing the lay-in liner!

Each diaper system includes a breathable yet leakproof shell and a Super Saver insert.

The shell is made of double layered PUL, and has durable side hip snaps. I love that it's reversible. I chose the Chili Pepper color. Want red one day? Yup. Want grass green the next? Go ahead, just flip the diaper over!

The internal leg and rear elastic is completely adjustable. Up to 18 different settings! By using elastic and buttons, switching up or down a size on the waist or legs is as simple as reaching inside the shell, and moving the elastic up or down a notch.

Now, it can be a bit tricky to get your fingers to cooperate with those tiny little buttons. But with a little practice, you can change the size in no time. And once you have it set, you only have to change it as your baby grows.
The lay-in liner is such a time and cost saver. They are made with a top layer of buttery microfleece against baby's skin, and a super absorbent microfiber layer underneath to pull away moisture. (They also have organic cotton/fleece/hemp ones also, if you prefer natural fibers on your little one's bum.) Just place the liner inside the shell, put the diaper on baby, and away you go. The next time they need to be changed, there's no need to put on a whole new diaper. Just remove the soaked liner, wipe the inside of the shell with a damp wipe, and pop in another liner.
Just think, less diaper laundry!

And by just buying a handful of shells and a few dozen inserts, you can have a very budget friendly diapering system. Especially considering these diapers fit 5-40 pounds! I think that is the largest size range for one sized diapers I have ever seen.
Here is the Sprout Change Diaper set on the smallest newborn setting...

And here is on the largest toddler size...

I followed the suggested size chart on the Willow Store site, and easily figured out what size to make it for both my diaper clad boys, just tweaking the adjustments a bit to customize their chubbier legs, skinnier waists, and higher rise.
And such a good custom fit made the leaks non-existent. Everything stayed exactly where it should be...in the diaper!

(Thomas: 6 months)

(Ezra: 27 months)
In my opinion, this is a great diaper.
When you first get it, expect to be intimidated by all those little buttons and elastic. I was. It seems complicated, but once you play around with it, you'll find it's not that difficult. And once you get the setting you want, you're done until the next growth spurt and diapering with it from then on will be easy peasy.
For the large range in sizing, the re-usable shell, and the ease of the inserts, I say this diaper is totally worth the price. The Sprout Change Super Saver Starter Kit comes with one shell and 3 inserts for $33.75. You can also buy the the shells and inserts separately. And considering if you wash your dirty diapers every other day, you only need about 8 covers and 24 inserts for your child's entire diapered life.
Overall, it is a very cute and innovative diaper, that fits amazingly well (which makes for minimal leaks!), and more of them are definitely on my next baby wish list!
