Frugal Fridays: Make Your Own Foaming Soap

Foaming soaps are all the rage. I totally love them. My children know exactly how much to use whether it be for washing hands or doing dishes. One little puff is all it takes.

But I am here to tell you, those liquid refill bottles are expensive.
They are nothing but watered down soap!!
And you don't ever need to buy them again.

It's easy to make your own for pennies compared to dollars, and it works just as well.

Here's how: Fill your empty foam dispenser about an inch full with your favorite regular soap, more or less depending on the size of your dispenser. (Cheapo stuff works fine.) Fill the rest with water and put the cap back on. Tip it from side to side to mix, and you're all set.

Fluffy foam bubbles that clean just as good as the "real" foaming soaps on the shelf.
How's that for frugal?
